2025 Summer Home Decor Trends :

Neutral, Coastal

Gone are the days of cold grays and sterile whites. Today’s homebuyers are drawn to warm neutrals—think soft beige, greige, taupe, and ivory tones. These hues create a sense of calm and offer a versatile canvas that makes any space feel move-in ready.

Tip: Use neutral walls or furnishings as a foundation, and layer in soft textiles for a lived-in, inviting vibe.

All Shades of Blue: From Sky to Slate

Blue is having a major moment—whether it’s a coastal powder room, a navy accent wall, or a soft slate-gray kitchen island. It evokes calm, trust, and stability—three things buyers instinctively look for in a potential home.

Staging Idea: Add blue ceramic vases, indigo cushions, or a soft blue runner rug to subtly introduce color that sells.

Seasonal Accent Colors: Pale Yellows & Oranges

July is a great time to incorporate soft, happy colors that feel summery but not overwhelming. Pale citrus tones, like buttery yellow and warm peach, pair beautifully with neutrals and evoke sunny, optimistic energy.

Where to use them: Pillow covers, tabletop decor, wall art, and bathroom linens.

Texture is the secret ingredient

That makes a home feel warm, layered, and high-end. And one of the most versatile materials to introduce texture without overwhelming your space? Linen.
Textures: linen one of our favorite summer textures to  add staying open and airy- sheer curtains, declutter

Linen Curtains to Soften the Light

Swap out heavy drapes for linen or linen-blend curtains to let light filter in while still offering privacy. Their gentle sway and imperfect weave bring movement and softness to a room.

Linen Table Runners and Napkins

In the kitchen or dining area, linen table runners and napkins add a refined yet casual vibe. Perfect for staging, entertaining, or just making everyday meals feel a bit more special.

Indoor-Outdoor Living: How to Create a Seamless Summer Sanctuary

As summer heats up, so does our desire to spend more time outside—without sacrificing the comfort and style of indoor living. That’s why indoor-outdoor living has become one of the most desirable features for modern homeowners and prospective buyers alike.

Whether you're planning to sell, host, or just savor the season at home, here's how to blur the lines between inside and out—and why it matters in today’s real estate market.

Open It Up: Expand Access to Outdoor Space

Creating strong visual and physical flow between indoors and outdoors is step one. Sliding glass doors, French doors, or accordion-style bi-fold doors dramatically open up your space and connect it to the patio or yard.

Quick fix for sellers: If you don't have the budget for a big remodel, clean and restyle your entryway to the outdoor space. Remove clutter, open curtains, and ensure there’s a clear path that draws the eye outside.

Lighting That Connects Day to Night

Outdoor string lights, wall sconces, solar path lights, and flickering LED lanterns create magic at dusk—and show potential buyers how the space works at all hours.

Real estate angle: Great outdoor lighting enhances listing photos, especially twilight shots.

Lush & Livable: The Power of Leafy Plants in Home Styling

Whether you're staging a home for sale or simply sprucing up your space for summer, leafy indoor plants are a simple, stylish way to breathe life into any room. Not only do they add color and texture, but they also create a sense of calm, freshness, and movement that buyers and homeowners love.

Here’s why leafy plants are a must-have design element—and how to use them effectively in your home:

 Instant Texture & Depth

Leafy plants like fiddle leaf figs, monstera, snake plants, and rubber trees introduce soft, organic lines that break up the rigidity of furniture and architecture. They're especially great in minimalist, neutral spaces where natural shapes add needed contrast.

Design tip: Use a tall plant to fill an empty corner or balance out a large sofa or media wall.

Best Leafy Plants for Every Room in Your Home

Adding plants to your home isn’t just about aesthetics—they clean the air, reduce stress, and help create a sense of balance and life. But not every plant thrives in every space. To help you style smart, here’s a guide to the best leafy plants for each room of the home, blending design, functionality, and greenery.

Our Favorite 4th Of July Appetizer:

Easy American Flag Fruit Skewers

๐Ÿงบ Ingredients:
Strawberries (halved)
Blueberries
Bananas (sliced into thick coins or chunks)
Wooden skewers

๐Ÿง‘‍๐Ÿณ Directions:

Make the flag pattern:

For the first 4–5 skewers, thread blueberries on the first third of the skewer, then alternate banana and strawberry slices for the rest.

For the remaining skewers, alternate just banana and strawberries the full length of the skewer.

Arrange on a tray so that the blueberry part forms the top-left corner of the “flag” and the rest creates red and white stripes.

Tips:

You can prep these a few hours ahead — just brush the bananas lightly with lemon juice to prevent browning.

Optional drizzle: Melted white chocolate or yogurt drizzle adds a sweet touch.
