Falling into Fall - Decorating, Events, & Family Activities

Decorating tips for Fall 2023:

• Decorate with pumpkins: Line your steps, mantle, walk ways, and tables. Use different colors of pumpkins to create deminsion. 

•  Add texture: Add leaves, flowers, mums, pine cones, corn husk. Use wicker and ratan in your home decor to add extra texture.

• Decorate with earth tones: Muted fall colors- honey,  duller oranges, peach, sage green, beiges, & browns are trending colors for 2023.

• Easy Fall switches from summer: Trading out for ferns & bright colors for mums & sunflowers. Change your front door mat & wreath. Add candles for fall scents & trade out your light blankets for chunky woven ones.

 Pumpkin Patches in the Raleigh Area: 

• Phillips Farm- wagon rides, activities, corn maze, haunted maze, petting zoo!
• Naylor family farm - TONS of family friendly activities, petting zoo, hay rides, & pumpkin patch!
• Kens Corn Maze- corn maze, haunted maze, pumpkin picking, and plenty of 
• Page farms- pumpkins, produce, hay rides, cow rides, playgrounds, corn maze, & farm store!
• Hill Ridge Farms- wagon rides, train rides, carousel rides, farm animals, music, food, everyone gets a free pumpkin!

• Pumpkin fFotilla - Bond Park Cary @ 4pm- 7pm - floating carved pumpkins float the pond at bond park!

• Spellbound -Mordecai Historic Park downtown raleigh @ 10am.- 3pm- handmade crafts, performances, pumpkin decorations, and family friendly activities. 

•  Frankenfest - Downtown Franklinton @ 12pm - 5pm - truck or treat, costume contests, & lots of games!

•  Barktoberfest - Durham Central park @ 3:30 - 6:30pm - animal adoptions, costume contest for your animals, & live music!

• nc wine festival - Koka Booth - wine, beer, food vendors, & music!

• Holly Fest- sugg Farm Park @ 10am - 4pm - family friendly events, music, local vendors & market, & multiple attractions.
